Sustainable raw materialsSustainability is acknowledged throughout our supply chain from the selection and production of raw materials to the nonwoven production. Suominen produces nonwovens from sustainable raw materials such as pulp, viscose and lyocell. Suominen collaborates with Lenzing to reduce climate impact of its nonwovens. Lenzing's VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers that are certified as carbon neutral by ClimatePartner are available for Suominen's products. For example, Suominen's BIOLACE® Zero is made of 100% VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers which are certified as carbon neutral. This means that their carbon emissions have been calculated, reduced and offset through certified carbon offset projects. Additionally, other products made of VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers are available at all Suominen's European sites Learn more
