Sustainable Business Management since 1974Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH has placed a strong focus on sustainable action ever since the company was founded by Dr. Jörg Petry in 1974. In addition to developing and producing modern textile auxiliaries for environmentally friendly processes that save energy and water, the company also focuses on nonpolluting logistics. A photovoltaic system for generating solar power has been installed on the roof of the company. The electrical power that is also consumed is almost emission-free and comes from hydropower. Multi-stage heat recovery systems have been installed in the production plant to act as energy-efficiently as possible. The manufacturing processes for the textile auxiliaries are resource-optimized so that as little waste as possible arises and has to be disposed of; and the production facilities are state-of-the-art in terms of environmental technology and are equipped with air washers and wastewater treatment modules.
